About Class Web

Class Web is used exclusively by classes at the University of North Texas in which the curriculum includes web site development or web resource development. Usage is subject to all applicable laws and policies, including the UNT Computer Use Policy.

Accounts are authorized for classes for the duration of one semester. All account requests must be made by the department or instructor in which the class is held. No individual accounts that are not associated with a particular course will be created. Instructors or departments needing class web site development resources may contact HelpDesk Technology Services to initiate a request for class web spaces on Class Web.

Access to this server is via either the WebDAV or SFTP protocol, depending upon which access method was requested by your professor. Each web space account that has been established on this server can be accessed by individual students within supported classes. Account authentication is via your UNT EUID and associated password. Specific access information such as the exact web address of a student's classroom web space will be supplied by the course instructor.
